I've been slacking..

Wow, I haven't been keeping up-to-date..

Well, some things that have went down,

-Contest was so sick, Congrats to all the winners (Little Riley, Red haired kid, Concussion, Malto-meal, Fetus, Scotty, and Zach Stowe) Who saw Leo krook UP the hubba? We need to step our game up guys(and any girls that shred). But good job everyone at the contest.
-Gabe's pants awards are failing.. whose going to be the first to wear rainbow pants?
-At the 12/17/08 Wednesday session, I saw some people stepping it up (Kyle 50-50 the handrail, Asante f/s board it, and to other kids f/s boarding it too, Cory "asshole" stuck switch f/s board down it?) Lets keep that progession going.

Things that are gonna go down,

-NO MORE WEDNESDAY SESSIONS TIL NEXT YEAR, but, the sunday times are changing to 5-9. So the new skate south schedule until next year is Saturday: 7-12 and Sunday: 5-9
-Mindfield primiere in Feburary (If you don't know what Mindfield is, get out from under the rock..)
-I'm going to get a montage up from some sessions asap, and try to keep updating.

Yes, guest judges Heath and Leo will be at South on Sat. Dec. 13. Better be ready. It should be ill. I'm hoping for the "Going the Distance" crew to do well. Good luck everyone. Remember, its only 2 pro skatebaorders judging your every movement. Thats hype

Anyway, it was a fun night. If you weren't there, you missed out on a good time. The night was filled with good skating, jam sessions, (and of course) the new thrasher video. Some things that went down (that I couldn't get pictures of cause my camera died.) were - Bryce did a b/s smith to back up Darren's blunt to fakie on the wall ride, Zach did a nollie f/s half cab over the yellow barrier as well as a switch kickflip b/s 50-50 on the hubba. There was a lot of gnarly things that came out that night. Be watching dsmskateboarding.com for the jam session videos, which were filmed with Carl's new Death lens. The session was epicly sick.

Well hopefully everyone is getting ready for November 22....

Costume Skateboarding

Skating in these things are hot, very sweaty, different weight, and things getting in your way. Its difficult but fun. Hopefully you all get a laugh out of the video thats coming up. Until then, here are a few pictures.

Mostly me, since nobody really helped out. Thanks to Johnson for the one night he wore one. I'm hoping people wear some on the Halloween sesh on Wednesday Oct. 29th.

Oh yeah, and and I'm getting a prototype for this on a shirt...

Halloween Sessions.

Okay, so starting Saturday, Oct. 18th (maybe Wednesday Oct. 22) I'm going to start something called "Halloween Sessions" at Skate South. Basically I decided to do a special montage every month. This month goes out for Halloween, so if you wanna be in the montage, you have to SKATE with a costume on at Skate South. I'm thinkin' the end result will be funny. So if your down, bring a costume and throw down. It'll be fun.

Wednesday - 10/8/08

Skate south session, was pretty fun. We keep progressing around here. Thats great. Keep it up everyone. (Oh and see Kevin, I read your blogs!)

Oh and don't forget! Contest at the Carol Skatepark this Saturday, October 11. Starts at 11. Subsect is judging! Should be good times. I'm gonna try to get out of work for it.

Beginner:
1st- Little Riley

I'm not sure on the rest. It was pretty fun, some standouts I saw were Johnson (the kid is progressing mad crazy fast) did a f/s board, ollie the rail, and switch 180 down the seven. Tyler Sloan did a kickflip over the ten hubba. Scott did a B/s and f/s flip down the seven. Some crazy shit. And on the 1st place intermediate kid, he freaked out and definently overeacted when he won. I don't think he deserved it, but whatever.

After that went skating a bit, lame.

But then went to south. was pretty fun. Good day.

A little sore but who cares. Lets go skate, and yo-yo.
